Medical review and verification
A source-based editorial update is different from a clinician’s review. We only claim medical review when we have a record tying a named reviewer to that page and revision.
What changed in September 2026
We removed blanket review attributions from pages whose current revisions did not have a documented clinical sign-off. The rewritten health references are labeled as editorial updates. No new clinician review is implied by a profile, an author schema, or the date of a site deployment.
What a review record must include
- The page and revision reviewed.
- The reviewer’s identity and relevant credentials.
- The review date and the scope of the review.
- Corrections requested and the version approved.
Publication checks
We distinguish research findings, reported experiences, manufacturer claims, and unknowns. High-risk treatment claims and specific dosing or tapering instructions require appropriate evidence and qualified review. Unsupported instructions are removed rather than labeled reviewed.
The directory also maintains a profile for Dr. Blane Schilling. A profile alone does not document review of a particular revision.
Corrections
Report a medical or factual concern with the page and supporting source. Updates should identify material changes and use the content revision date rather than the build date.
