Kratom Tea: Preparation Does Not Establish Safety
Brewing kratom as tea does not turn it into a standardized medicine or establish that it is safe. Strength depends on the source material and preparation.

Why recipes are not dose standards
Leaf amount, product composition, extraction conditions, and final volume all vary. A recipe described in cups or teaspoons does not establish a consistent quantity of active compounds.
Check the source material
Use the lot identifier to match any available laboratory report to the material. A report on a different batch or a generic laboratory logo is not evidence about the product in front of you. Heating should not be assumed to remove all contaminants.
Questions for a café or retailer
Ask what the drink contains, whether it includes extracts or isolated compounds, the quantity information available, and whether other active ingredients are added. If the answers are unclear, do not substitute guesses or a strain name for that information.
